Obituary of Nancy Carol Buckner - Isbit

Nancy Carol Buckner-Isbit, age 73, of Henderson, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Nancy was born and raised October 10, 1938 in Chicago IL to the late Emil and the late Pearl (Wesolowski) Orsini. Nancy had an extensive career in the medical field, working as a psychiatric nurse, nurse practitioner and medical case manager. Some of her career experiences included working as a nurse on the Santa Fe Rail Road and psychiatric nurse on the Panama Canal and at the Presidio Hospital in San Francisco. She was involved with the start-up of Planned Parenthood in New York and taught at Rutgers Univ. She owned her own medical case management company in both San Diego and Las Vegas. Nancy loved to travel and enjoyed all that life had to offer. She was a loving sister, niece and aunt, and a good friend to Pam Janovitz and many others, touching the lives of all she met. She is survived by her brother Tom (Cheryl) Orsini of Henderson; aunt Carol (Ted) Blonski of Highland IN; nieces Michelle (Adrian) Kamide of South Barrington IL and Tammy (Erik) Miller of Orland Park IL. A visitation will take place from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM on Sunday, October 30 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services.
