Obituary of Marilyn Sheila Brill

Marilyn Sheila Brill, age 82, of Henderson died September 6, 2011. Marilyn was born August 30, 1929 in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada to the late Gerald Livingston and the late Dorothy (Grossman) Plant. She married Robert Wilkens Brill on September 2, 1961. Marilyn worked as a registrar for the San Jose Unified School District. After moving to Henderson from Chantilly VA, she became very active in Sun City Anthem, where she played bridge, pan, Bunco and mah jong, was treasurer of the Party Bridge Club and the Pan Club. She was also was an enthusiastic volunteer for the Community Service Club, Election Committees,and the Sun City Anthem Woman's club as well as fundraising for the future Henderson Nathan Adelson Hospice. She was a member of Congregation Ner Tamid. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Brill of Henderson; daughter Gerri (Aron) Sterling of Fairfax VA; sister Bertha Kaufman of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren Deanna, Zahavah and Elayna Sterling of Fairfax VA. The funeral will be held at 1:20 PM on Monday, September 12 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Donations may be made to a cancer organization of the donor's choice.
