Obituary of Annie Ruth Otis

Heaven blessed Ruben Cowart Sr. and Odessa Haire with an angel, Annie Otis on August 23, 1938. Annie was born in Colquit, GA. Ann moved to Haine City Fl as a young teen. There she graduated from, Oakland High School. She was very popular. Excelled in school. She also made Home Coming Queen, Cheerleader just a few Joy's. She also loved to sing was in the Church choir. She left Flordia shortly after graduation moving to Rochester, Ny. There she met and married Ex husband Eddie Otis Jr. They born 3 children together. Marsha Otis, Sheree Otis Colson, Felicia Connor. Annie Otis was an Phenomenal woman. She was always helping others. She worked with juveniles at Industry. Coaching them to get their life back on track. She was a  Social worker for Catholic family center. Working closely working with family  making sure their needs were being met. She was a Realtor for Century21st . Helping families first time buying pleasant. Foster Care mom. She was a member of New Beginnings Aspostlic Church. Pastor Ronald Mathis and Evangelist    Marilyn Mathis. Where she was Head Usher board. She had a great Love for them. They became just like family. She remind there until moving to Vegas last April. Mom was Just Phenomenal. Best mom, grandma, sister, friend. Love you mom. I could go on.

Annie R.Otis peacefully transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on June 22,2020 with her 2 daughters Felicia and Sheree by her side. She is preceded by her mother and father, brothers Robert Cowart, Willie C. Cowart. Sisters Ruthella  Wilson and Ines Shepard.

Left to cherish her sweet memories and celebrate her life are her daughters Marsha Otis, Sheree Otis Colson, Felicia  Connor. Grandchildren: Andre(Patricia) Maurice, Rondell and Shacora Otis. Shantrease Perdomo(Anthony Cleveland), Daniel (Samatha) Colson Jr. Jason(Toni Rose) Colson. Chaz (Jessica) Connor. Colby Connor, Ahtian Connor. Siblings: Dr.Ruben(Evelyn) Cowart Jr. Ophelia Monroe, Leeola (Willie) Buntley, Mattie Lee Mackie  and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends. Special persons Kia and Val.
