Obituary of Ronald Barrett

Ronald Frank Barrett March 29,1937--December 17, 2019 It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Barrett. Born in Seattle, Washington to parents Mary and Ben, Ron was a devoted husband to Judy, his wife of almost sixty years, beloved father to sons Randy, David, and Michael. He is also survived by his grandson, Ray, daughter-in-law Andrea, son-in-law Mark, Michael's partner Gabe, and his younger brother, Kenny. Ron's career brought him from Washington to Southern California and eventually Las Vegas, Nevada. An indefatigable businessman, he found success in many professions, including insurance sales, real estate, owning and operating restaurants and auto repair shops. Nothing brought Ron more joy than spending time with his wife, Judy. Over the years they loved to square dance, compete in dog shows, participate in their Chavurah social group, travel, and raise dogs of many sizes and breeds, particularly mastiffs and Irish Wolfhounds. Ron was a friend to all who met him. He was a passionate man, whose tenacity was only matched by his charm. He left us far too early and he will be missed forever.
