6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
YJut Buonto, Ones the Montagnard worthy leaders. A MAN OF PEACE, TO DIE IS GAIN, FINISHED WELL, is truly legacy to us, to his wife, children and grandchildren and His Friend.
On January 12, 2019. He went home with Jesus Christ in heaven. Because, faithfulness Christian YJut Buonto heard!!!!! "Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” Scriptures Revelation 14:13
When I received the called from Pastor Andrew Blunts, I am immediately made decision I will come to honoring HIM, along with I bring the special remark share condolences to From Pierre KBriuh, Deacon Saints Mary Church, and Greensboro, North Carolina
“Happy are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.” (Rev. 14:13)
I remember Joseph as a brilliant young Montagnard full of charm and future who spoke already fluent English in early 1960’s in Banmethuot. Later before the collapse of South Vietnam Nam (1973-1975), we assumed our responsibility at the Ministry for the Development of the Ethnic Minorities (MDEM). He was a good administrator and brilliant strategist as Darlac MDEM Chief Service and Director of MDEM Highland Affairs in Pleiku and Nhatrang.
In the U.S.A., using his valuable connection, he was an excellent advocate for the Montagnard refugees. May God of love and consolation open the door of eternal happiness for a “good servant”.

CONDOLENCE LETTER
January 18, 2018
DEAR IÆ AMÊ H’BELL AND FAMILY.
We are overwhelmed by grief, to learn from Pastor Y Hin Nie, of the death of your husband, Y Jut Buon To. He is a former of the Montagnard Leader and he was a great man not only to the Montagnard people, but also to American friends and his presence will always be missed among us. We know perfectly well how deeply you were attached to each other, and how greatly you must miss him every minute.
There is not much we can say at a time like this. But we want you to know how deeply we feel for your sorrow and how much we would like to help.
On behalf of the Montagnard People in Homeland and Overseas, we send you our deepest sympathy to you and your family during this period of stress. We hope it may be some little consolation to you and your family to know that your Montagnard friends are still thinking of you and willing to share your grief.
Once again we would like to share our condolence to you and your family.
Sincerely yours
Rong Nay
-Executive Director, the Montagnard Human Rights Organization
-Vice President, the Council of indigenous Peoples in Today’s Vietnam
And, Y Siu Hlong, Executive Director of the Montagnard Dega Association.
Hlong’s Speech
To the family members of Y Jut Buôn Tô,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Y Siu Hlong. I am the current executive Director of the Montagnard Dega Association in Greensboro, North Carolina.
On behalf of the Montagnard Association, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the family members of Mr. Y Jut BuônTô for giving me an opportunity to share my love, my tears, and my sorrow with all of you who are gathered here today in order to pay respect to one of our beloved great leaders, Mr, Y Jut BuônTô..
In honor of all the memories of Mr. Y Jut Buôn Tô, I would like to share some of the good things he has done for the Montagnard people in the Central High Lands of Vietnam and the Montagnard community in the U.S.A.
During the Vietnam War, Y Jut Buôn Tô was the first Montagnard Special Forces commander that fought alongside the American army in Banmethuot district, Dak Lak province. His unit attacked and destroyed many units of the North Vietnamese Communists who went down to South Vietnam. Later, he was promoted to work as the Service Chief of Ethnic Minority for the Development Ministry (EMDM) in Banmethuot district Dak Lak province and at the same time he served as a Director of Ethnic Minority in PLei Ku and Nha Trang province. He came to the U.S prior to the fall of Saigon on April 30th, 1975; but I do not recall the exact date of his departure from his lovely, beautiful country in the Central High Lands of Vietnam. After arriving in the United States of America, he never stopped trying to mobilize his American Special Forces friends in order to help the Montagnard to resettle in Seattle, Washington. He was especially helpful to newly arriving Montagnard refugees in North Carolina. He helped me, Y Hin Nie and Piere K Bruih to set up the Montagnard Dega Association office in Greensboro and with projects in Asheboro, such as a new Montagnard cultural center. There were millions of good things he did for his people, but there is not enough time to describe every one of them at this moment.
Today, we are gathered because we lost a great man. Just as if we had lost a limb, he is a part of us that we cannot replace. We lost him as the sheep lose their shepherd: someone to lead and guide them to green fields and fresh water springs in the summer time. We mourn him as we mourn the loss of our own parents, with no one left to give us that golden advice. We are left without him as a leader in fighting for the Montagnard people’s common plight. There is nothing more for me to say other than these few closing words:
May God our Father bless his family who are still left behind, and receive him warmly into the world of eternal peace!
Sincerely yours,
Y Siu Hlong
And His Friend Bob Buonkrong, Grand Prairies, TX also share condolences sympathy to HIM.

My heartfelt condolences to the Buonto family. Y Jut was a wonderful man, and we will all miss him. I am the daughter of Priscilla Devin who was like a grandmother to the Buontos. I live in Arizona so I didn't get to know Y Jut or the Buonto family as well. However, the times that I did see Y Jut, I was always impressed with his positive outlook on life and his kindness to everyone. I will alway remember him.

While I only met Yjut once, I had heard so many great things about him when he was with “Minority Affairs” during the war. He was a man of integrity and honor, and he will be missed because of this. I’ve worked with Montagnards since the war, and his name is synonymous with great leadership, and all Montagnards owe him a debt of thanks. My sincere and deepest sympathies to the Buonto family. No more pain or suffering as God has welcomed Yjut to heaven.
