Obituary of Lynne Dolores Willens-Fiel

Lynne Dolores Willens Fiel, 88, of Las Vegas and formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. Lynne was born September 5, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Jack and the late Bettie Frost. She had a career as a party planner and enjoyed needlepoint and volunteering. Lynne volunteered in Las Vegas at Bet Knesset Bamidbar, the Jewish Community Center and the Chicago Westside Club. While in Milwaukee, she was a member of Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Shalom and worked for Congregation Shalom. Lynne is survived by her husband Al Fiel; children Caryn (Bob Nicholson) Willens of Lacrosse, WI and Aimee (Dennis) Kahn of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren Mitchel (Laura)Sadowsky, Marla (Matthew) Sutton, Ronna (Rick) Ruffin, Joshua (Eleanor) Kahn, Daniel (Eleanor Shterenfeld) Kahn, Matthew (Marie) Franzowiak and Paul Franzowiak; great grandchildren Naomi and Audrey Kahn, Garin and Levi Ruffin, Elliott Sutton, Cole Franzowiak and Michael and Elizabeth Kahn; sister Ruth (Sanford) Mintz; step-children Richard (Nancy) Gilfor, Larry (Casena) Fiel, Lisa Fiel; step-grandchildren Lee (Tamara) Adelman, Benjamin (Chelsea) Fiel; and step-great grandchildren Taylor and Piper Fiel, and Meadow and Tobias Adelman. She is predeceased by her sister Helen Johnson and her daughter Jann Willens. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Congregation Shalom in Fox Point WI, followed by interment at the Second Home Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in Las Vegas at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 6 at the Desert Vista Community Center.
