Obituary of William Junior Hoffman

William (Bill) Hoffman, age 85, of Las Vegas NV passed away on May 31, 2018. Bill was born in Monroe, WI on February 17, 1933 to the late Willi and Hilda Hoffman. He graduated from Mt. Horeb High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He raised his family in Brookfield WI and later married Judy Hoffman in 1993. They enjoyed 24 years of marriage in Las Vegas NV until Judy's death on October 16, 2017. He spent his career in the insurance industry and retired from Crum and Forster as a Senior Underwriter. Bill had a quick wit. In retirement he served on the security patrol for his neighborhood community, and together with Judy was a founding member of Indigo Valley Church where he provided leadership as treasurer of the church board. He was also famous for his delicious home baked cookies. He is survived by four children; Jim (Kerrie) Hoffman, Peg (Tom) Grisa, Tracy (Tom) Dybro, and Amy (David) Mayer, two step-children; Erik (Jeanne) Gulliksen, and Kirk Gulliksen, his brother; Richard (Kay) Hoffman, nieces and nephews; Grandchildren; Stephanie Hoffman, Jacob (Lauren) Grisa, Elisabeth Grisa, Danny Grisa, Amy Grisa, Holly Dybro, Rachel Dybro, Ryan Dybro, Jason Mayer, Jonathan Mayer, Emily Mayer, Ben Gulliksen, Connor Gulliksen, Michael Roka, Gabriella Roka, Luke Roka and Claire Roka, Great grandson; Everett Grisa, as well as beloved pets Alfie and Chanel. Visitation will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Indigo Valley Church, 2675-2699 South Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV with funeral service at 4:30pm and reception following. Pastor Charlotte Morgan will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Indigo Valley Church, http://www.indigovalley.org.
