Obituary of Marvin Libert

Marvin Libert, age 84, a 23 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Marvin was born February 7, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Isadore and the late Esther (Rosen) Libert. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After returning from Korea, he attended college, earning his degree in accounting. He worked as an accountant most of his career and spent some time as a home improvement contractor. Marvin played football in high school and throughout his life, continued to enjoy playing and watching sports. He was a fantastic cook and enjoyed his yardwork. Marvin is survived by his wife of 61 years Loretta Libert; children Dawn (Richard), Eva (Robert), and Joyce (Mike); grandchildren Chad (Jaclyn), Rachel, Brittany (Brady) , Kara, Lisa, and Jake; sister Rochelle, and twin brother Gilbert.
