Obituary of Laurie Lynn Craythorn

Laurie Lynn Orzen Craythorn Las Vegas, Nevada Laurie Orzen Craythorn, age 61, left us on Thursday, March 2, 2017. She is survived by her 3 children Paul (Jamie) Craythorn, Ryan Craythorn, and Jennifer (Chad) Craythorn Butler, and 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by her Mother Rickie and Brothers Michael (Lynda) Orzen and Matthew (Elaine) Orzen, her Uncle Bill and Cousins Adam and Skydra Orzen, her Aunt Lillian and Cousins Josh and Eve Maremont, and Sisters Joni Billman Epstein and Betty Ostreicher Vajda, Laurie was the first child of Rickie and Morton Orzen. She was born on January 30, 1956 in Huntington Beach, California. Laurie was an Air Force brat for 26 years and grew up living in a variety of interesting places developing a love for California, England, and Utah. She loved and cared for animals her whole life, including cats, dogs, horses, pigs, ducks, chickens, turtles and parrots. Laurie was married to Kevan Craythorn for 20 years during which they raised three beautiful children. Laurie touched many lives as she was always a strong leader during a crisis. Laurie led a life of service helping countless people in need and touching many hearts. She will be deeply missed.
