Obituary of Felix Arnold Buehler

Felix Arnold Buehler, dedicated husband and father, passed away on March 16, 2016. He valiantly fought his lung cancer for 5 years, beating the odds enduring treatments and living a good life. Felix was born in Weil am Rhein, Germany. He was a spirited young man who loved to spend time with friends and family traveling throughout Europe. He joined the Swiss Military where he was trained as a chef. Felix enjoyed showing off his culinary talents by cooking for family and friends. Felix loved music. It was this passion and commitment that brought him to the United States in 1983. He studied guitar under famed musicians at the Guitar Institute in Los Angeles. After graduation, he decided to stay in the United States to pursue a career as a professional guitar player/musician. He moved to Las Vegas where he played with countless performers, entertainers and musicians. His reputation as a masterful and accomplished guitar player, gave him the opportunity to travel throughout North America and Europe. While playing for others, he still found time to create and compose original music. After his cancer diagnosis, Felix focused on family and his health. He began attending and participating in groups and activities at The Caring Place. He also traveled each year to Switzerland and Germany to spend time with his family. Felix is survived by his devoted wife Shareece, his son Miles, who is the light of his life, his mother Heidi, brothers Urs (Ulrike), Markus (Stephanie) and sister Anina (Dieter). He has a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends throughout Germany, Switzerland and the United States. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold and uncle Karl, both of Germany. A graveside service will be held at Bunkers Memorial Garden at 7251 W Lone Mountain Road on March 21, 2016 at 10am.
