Obituary of Joseph Reynolds

Joseph William Reynolds, 63, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by family and love following a battle with cancer. Born and raised in Wood River, Nebraska, the son of Anthony and Gertrude Reynolds, Joe has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1983. Joe had a long and successful career in the Las Vegas broadcasting industry working in both radio and television. He was honored to be inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2007. Being with his family and dogs is what made Joe the happiest. He enjoyed traveling to Arizona to spend time with his grandsons and attending their little league games and swim meets. He loved baseball and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He had the privilege of attending games in St. Louis with his son, Seth. Joe is survived by his son, Seth Reynolds; daughter, Sara Anderson; son-in-law, Jeff Anderson; grandsons, Ethan and Ryan Anderson; sister, Pat Walbrecht; brother, Mick Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Frank Walbrecht, Stephanie Montgomery, Edward Walbrecht, Angela Davidson, Alice Levis, and Andrew Reynolds; many close friends and his dogs, Happy and Pepper. A funeral service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church 4925 S Torrey Pines Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118 on December 5, 2015 at 11am with a burial at Bunkers Memorial Lone Mountain on Monday December 7 at 10am. Kraft Sussman is in charge of funeral arrangements. Joe will be dearly missed by his family and close friends but will always be in our hearts..
