Mom, Another Christmas is soon here and I am missing you as I always probably will. Every holiday brings both a tear to my eye because I miss you, but it also brings a smile to my face remembering how you loved a big big party and large family gatherings where you did all the cooking and preparations. Enjoying every moment of the work.
You thought a lot about angels and now you are with them enjoying a great heavenly gathering in the presence of Jesus.
Celebrate, Mom!
We celebrate you.
Betty

Mom,
My first Christmas without you.
While the ache in my heart is tremendous, deep, deep down I know you are in a better place in Heaven with Jesus.
I miss you, Mom.
I see you in a twinkle of a friend's eye, I hear your laugh as we exchange 'Marie' stories. I see you in the smile of a family member. I see the shine of your hair on the head of a passing stranger. I even hear you when certain words come out of my mouth.
I think of you as I admire a colorful winter sunrise, I think of you as I look at the fullness of the moon, of course I think of you in our favorite places enjoying our favorite foods together.
My first Christmas without you.
Rest in the arms of the Lord, Mom and enjoy the company of the Angels you loved.
Merry Christmas

This was a post sent to me from Kraft Sussman. It is beautiful and thought that I would share:
My First Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights like Heaven’s starts, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not far away, we really aren’t apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above,
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.
After all love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do
For I can’t count the blessing or love He has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

Marie,
Though I only met you once, I'm glad that we did. Playing cards with you after a wonderful Christmas dinner with your family made me feel welcomed. Thank you for that...may your journey to heaven and seeing the face of God fulfills your soul forever!
Miss Betty,
I'm incredibly sorry for your loss! Please know that while I am going through this same journey now of losing my father, you can always count on me to be there for you. Your mother is with God, and is in better hands than could ever be provided for her on earth. Your mother finally gets to see the face of God! How glorious is that! Be happy for her. I'm up for mourning martinis anytime. :-) Take care!

Paul & I send our deepest condolences to John, Frances, Joanie, and especially to our cousins Betty, George, Charles & Marie Alice, and their spouses and children. We were lucky to have you with us for so many years.

More then a sister, a friend, like a second mother thats how I felt. You were always there for me thru my growing up years and even afterwards for me and my children. The memories will always be in my heart and mind. May you rest in peace now as the Lord knows what a great person you were. I love you and will miss you. Till we meet again.

Marie, You will be missed. I will always remember your visits to Las Vegas before you moved here. We would talk about politics and had such a good time. When you moved here we were like family and you always referred to me as your adopted daughter. It was a privilege and an honor to hold such a place and I will always be grateful for your graciousness. Now in the presence of our Lord, you are at total peace and fullness of joy. I will see you again. Your adopted daughter, Donna.
