Obituary of Sahar Arghavan

Sahar Arghavan, 29 years of age, passed away August 28, 2015. Sahar was born in Tehran, Iran to Kamal Arghavan and Parvin Moetamadian on March 21, 1986. She attended high school in Moscow where she enjoyed theater as well as playing Basketball and Soccer. In high school, she was known for her impeccable wood carving skills, creating many beautiful decorative boxes. After high school, she moved to the United States with her family when she eventually settled in Las Vegas. She worked as an assistant manager in Bank of America while attending school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas majoring in economics. Sahar was eloquent, genuine, hard working, and full of happiness. Her beautiful smile and sense of compassion brought us peace. Although she left us too soon, she touched many lives through her endearing spirits. On her free time, Sahar enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, and dinning out. She is survived by her mother, Parvin Moetamadian; sister, Somayyeh Arghavan; fiancé, Hamed Khalili; and her brother-in-law, Amin Mosharaf. Her body will be buried next to her late father in Karaj, Iran.
