Obituary of Juan Jose Calderon-Gonzalez

Juan Jose Calderon Gonzalez passed away peacefully at Nathan Adelson Hospice on August 28, 2015 in Las Vegas NV at the age of 65. Juan is survived by his wife, Norma Calderon of Las Vegas, NV; Sons, Jose, Omar, Jan-Paul, Almeida, and daughter Sara of Las Vegas, NV. He also had 9 grandchildren who loved him dearly. Juan was born on May 27 1950 in Mexicali, Baja California to Jose Calderon and Graciela Gonzalez. He grew up in Mexicali along with his 10 siblings (2 brothers and 8 sisters). In 1973 he married his wife Norma Tamayo, they started their family the very next year. In 1988 he moved along with his family to Las Vegas, NV in order to provide a better life for them. In 1993 he again moved to Henderson, NV where he would raise his children. Juan was liked by everyone he met almost instantly. He had an amazing sense of humor that made it almost impossible to dislike him even if you tried. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his humor, wit, generosity and most importantly his loving nature. A funeral is scheduled for 9 to 11 AM at 3975 S. Durango Dr. Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147 (Kraft & Sussman). There will be a short Catholic prayer from 11 AM to 12 PM (same date and location). He will be laid to rest at Palm Cemetery located at 800 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson, NV at 1 PM
