Obituary of Eleanor Winchell

Eleanor Winchell, age 89, of Las Vegas, died Thursday, August 6, 2015. Eleanor was born January 24, 1926 in St. Louis MO to the late David and the late Minnie Herzfeld. She held a number of offices in the Order of the Eastern Star, including Worthy Matron of Home Chapter 592, Grand Representative of CA and MO, and the Deputy Grand Matron of CA. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Marvin Winchell; children Debra (Edmond) Kessler and Joe Winchell; grandchildren Shauna (Greg) Frost, Jason Kessler, David (Stephanie) Winchell and Jennifer (Todd) Greenberg; and great grandchildren Alden Winchell, Raya Winchell, Callen Winchell, Zachary Greenberg and Brayden Greenberg. The funeral will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. .
