Obituary of Edward L. Steiner

Edward Steiner, a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Wednesday June 24th at the age of 89. Ed was born on April 16th, 1926, in Los Angeles, California to his parents Ed and Estella. After graduating high school, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman First Class from April 15, 1944 to May 23rd, 1946. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and began work as a Structural Steel draftsman. In 1952 he met the love of his life Nancy Stansall. They were married for 60 incredible years filled with much love and laughter. Throughout those 60 years, besides working as a draftsman, he was a father to 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grand children, served as an elder in the church, loved books, crossword puzzles and penny slots. Ed was a man of unwavering faith, determination, strength and love with a huge heart. All of this he instilled in his 5 children. He is survived by his wife Nancy Steiner, sister Shirley Larsen, brother Bob Steiner and his 5 children: Donna Prince, John Steiner, Paul Steiner, Carol White and Mark Steiner and their families.
