Obituary of Ricardo Olivar Ortaliza

Camilo Ricardo "Rick" Olivar Ortaliza was born on April 3, 1948 in Balaoan, La Union Philippines. He passed away on Sunday June 14, 2015 (67) at St. Rose Dominican Hospital – San Martin Campus in Las Vegas, Neveda. He has gone to meet our creator and reunite with his parents (Pio Manangan Ortaliza and Eufemia Ordono Olivar), brother (Reynaldo "Rey"), nephew (Fortunato "Bong"), grandniece (Isabella Rose) and grandnephew (Christian Rey). His legacy continues through his wife (Justina), his son (Aries) and his wife (Heidi), his daughter (Angela) and her partner (Miranda). Rick was a humble man and was remembered by many as to always assist where he can. He gave everything he had from the depths of his heart to make a lighter load on those he could help. He had a passion for photography, that his children inherited and an enthusiasm to learn and practice Feng Shui and study the Bible. He was a prayerful man always attending mass in the morning when he could along with Sunday mass and bible study, he never left anywhere without his rosary and often times you would see him sitting in a quite room or in his car, writing in a notebook, reading the bible, or praying the rosary. When you would see the smile on his face you could see he was a man who was planted with strong faith, beliefs and Love for the Lord. To celebrate his life, his family will hold a viewing of his remains at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV, on Friday June 19, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. Followed by a 9:30am viewing Saturday June 20, 2015, and the funeral mass at 12 Noon, both at Christ the King Catholic Community 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive Las Vegas, Neveda. Thereafter, proceeding to Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S Eastern Ave for Interment.
