Obituary of Eileen Frances Goodman

Eileen Frances Goodman, age 94, of Henderson, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010. Eileen was born April 23, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Arthur and the late Theresa (Levy) Greenfield. Eileen was a wonderful cook. She loved to crochet and, in addition to her afghans, crocheted beautiful Barbie outfits for all of her grandchildren. She was also an avid reader and frequents library visitor. Eileen is survived by her daughters Jayne (Steve) Goodman Samet of Henderson NV and Susan Diane Goodman of Mt. Kisco NY; grandchildren Tracy Hurewitz of Las Vegas, Michelle (Chas) Smith of Las Vegas, Daniel Recht of Cambridge MA and Allison Recht of Washington DC and her great grandchildren Jake and Haley Smith of Las Vegas. She is predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Harvey Goodman. Contributions in Eileen's memory may be made to the Cleveland Clinic/Lou Ruvo Brain Institute. A private service will be held.
