Obituary of Rita Abelman

Rita Abelman, age 87, a 25 year resident of Las Vegas, died Sunday, June 25, 2017. Rita was born March 16, 1930 in New York to the late Saul and the late Ruth Silverman. Rita graduated first in her class of approximately 15,000 students at NYU. She worked as an office manager, and managed her husband's optometry office and was an avid poker player. Rita is survived by her sons Mark (Stacey) Abelman; Eric (Sharon) Abelman and David Abelman; grandchildren Catrina, Brett, Samantha, Devon, Taylor and Kendall; and great grandaughter Harper. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 year, Stanley Abelman. Services will be private.
