Obituary of Morton Rovner

Morton Rovner, age 100, of Las Vegas, passed away November 16, 2016. Morton was born July 28, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and the late Rebecca (Goldman) Rovner. He served in the US Army during World War II, survived the attack on Pearl Harbor, and was injured in the line of duty in the aftermath of the attack. After the war he worked as a machinist and later became the co-owner of a machine tool and die company in California. He is survived by his niece, Dr. Gay Goodman, of Seattle, WA, the daughter of his late sister Sherry. He is predeceased also by his other sister, Phyllis, and his brother, Ed. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147, with subsequent burial at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. .
