Obituary of Joseph Thomas Marshall

Our beloved Joseph Thomas Marshall, also known as Joe or Joey, left this world on Friday, May 13, 2016. Born in Apple Valley, CA on October 15, 1980, Joe is survived by his loving parents Kenneth and Sonja, brother Justin, sister-in-law Amber, nephew Ryker and partner Philip Drennen. A compassionate and always hilarious person, Joe quite literally danced through life, showing a innate ability and artistry for the art form in his early years that was nurtured and shaped by his mother. Joe danced professionally for most of his adult life. From Southeast Asia to the Las Vegas Strip, his sought-after talent allowed him to enjoy so much of this world while doing what he loved to do. An incredible chef and artisan, Joe’s eye for design and aesthetic made him an incredible asset when creating beautiful things. Fast on his feet and even faster with a joke, Joe made us better by pushing us to see that with passion and determination anything is possible. Joe's family and circle of friends will miss him dearly, but will always cherish the memories, fueled by laughter and light, to help get through this impossible time. Those looking to pay their respects may join Joe’s loved ones on Friday, May 20 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services on 3975 South Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
