Obituary of Baruch Derstin

Baruch Derstin was born November 7, 1950 in Israel and passed away on May 11, 2016 at the age of 65. He served in the Israeli defense forces (IDF) as an aviation electrician. Baruch had a factory of women's textiles when he lived in Israel. He married Ester Mesika on May 17, 1978 and immigrated to the United States in 2001. He is survived by a son Roee (Israel) from a previous marriage, and a Daughter Ilanit (Las Vegas) from Ester's previous marriage. Together they had a daughter Rama (las Vegas). He is also survived by sister Rachel who resides in Israel, six grandchildren; three in Las Vegas and three in Israel. Baruch was a wonderful and a very dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He loved life, music, food and friends. He always had a smile and was always happy to be around his friends and family. Baruch's door was always open to everyone and his generosity was known by all. He will be missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV. .
