Obituary of Linda Faye Miller

Linda Faye Miller, age 66, of Las Vegas, Nv passed away Thursday morning, January 7, 2016. Linda was born on February 22, 1949 in Checotah, Oklahoma. Linda was the only child of Jimmie Lee Prater and Grace Opal Hamm. Linda's parents later relocated to Omaha, Ne. where she grew up,attended school and started a family of her own. Linda spent many summers back in Oklahoma with her Grandmother and aunt. Linda liked to ride horses and did ride in many parades with her father,who was a member of the Tangier Mounted Patrol. Linda liked to water ski and was a avid bowler. Linda was a bowling instructor and did some bowling TV commercials back in Omaha. Linda was married on April 12, 1969 in Omaha, Ne to her spouse of 46 years, Steven D Miller. Linda and her own family moved to Las Vegas in September of 1983. Linda was a full time wife and homemaker and her greatest joys were her family and her dogs. Linda raised 2 fine sons and was an influence on her 5 grandchildren. Linda is survived by her spouse, Steven D Miller 2 Sons and Daughters in Law; Jimmy and Monica, Jason and Cristina 5 Grandchildren Peyton,Robert,Gracie,Trinity,Scarlett 1 Great Grandchild Autumn Marie 3 Lonely Dogs Chloe Rose, Sadie May, Avalon Linda donated to “Laps for Charity” so she could drive her Screaming Yellow Mustang around the Speedway track at 100 mph. Services are being held at the Kraft/Sussman Funeral Facilities on Saturday January 16 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. They are located at 3975 S. Durango Dr. Suite 104. It will be an informal service.
