Obituary of Myra Markowitz

Myra Markowitz, age 85, of Las Vegas, died Thursday, January 7, 2016. Myra was born December 18, 1930 in New York, NY to the late Moe and the late Pauline Rose (Keitz) Cohen. She was very active with her children and their activities while they were growing up in New York. Myra also enjoyed cooking, baking and all types of handicraft, including knitting, needlepoint, crocheting and rug hooking. She is survived by her son William Markowitz and preceded in death by her daughter Lynn Markowitz and sister Beatrice Rothenstein. A funeral will be held at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont NY. .
