Obituary of Florence Jones

Florence Jones was born on December 18, 1927, in Detroit Michigan to the late Samuel and Hazel Bradley. She was the second born of twelve children. Her Parents and Brothers Samuel, Wiley and John and her sisters Gloria, Rose and Bertha preceded her in death. In 1947 Florence met her beloved William Jones and from this union five children were born, William, Deborah Ann, Donna Adele, Daryl Allen and Darek Alvin Jones. Preceding her in death was William, Deborah and Darek Jones. Florence and William Divorced after twenty Five years of marriage but remained best friends until his death in February of 2015. Florence worked and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. Florence was not one to sit still, she moved to California and after twenty years moved to Las Vegas and at seventy five years old she began a career with United Coin. Florence loved to read and she enjoyed cooking. Florence made her transition, peacefully on August 16, 2015 at 7:00pm at Nathan Adelson Hospice. Florence leaves to mourn her absence her beloved son Daryl Jones Her daughter and Son-in-law Donna and Larry Watkins. Her sisters Lillian and Pearl, her brothers Alfred, Paul and Benson. Her Grandchildren: Delshaun, Kimberly, Kacy, Kevin and Tara Smiley, Jermaine Middleton, January Middleton and Asia Burnside. Corutney, Carmen, Cordell and Camile Jones. Twelve great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her two best friends Jewel and Velma. Mere words cannot express the sadness and loneliness that everyone that knew her will feel. Everyone that she met she made them feel like part of our family. A memorial service will take place at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
