Obituary of Dennis Leroy Flanagan

Dennis Leroy Flanagan, age 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday, March 21, 2010. Dennis was born August 11, 1933 in Chicago, IL. He is the son of the late Sylvester and the late Helen (Kruzona) Flanagan. He married Mary Lou Rycraft on July 5, 1958 in Chicago, IL. Dennis served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After the war he worked as an electrician for the Marshall Field/Macy stores. He enjoyed woodworking and playing at the casinos. Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Flanagan; daughters Kathleen (Paul Solan of Las Vegas and Eileen (Jeremy) Bohlin of Plainfield, IL; sons Daniel Flanagan of Las Vegas, Timothy Flanagan of Fox River Grove, IL and Kevin Flanagan of Lombard, IL; brothers Donald (Maribelle) Flanagan of Crossville, TN and Michael (Katie) Flanagan of Winona, MN and grandchildren, Lindsay Cedillo, Courtney Cedillo, Timothy Flanagan, JR, BrittanyFlanagan, Brian Flanagan, Kristen Solan, BrookeSolan, Scott Solan, Katie Flanagan, JC Bohlin and Grace Bohlin . He is predeceased by his daughter, Carol (Keith) Cedillo, his parents and his sisters,Patricia Libel and Maureen Nunley Contributions in Dennis' memory may be made to St. Jude. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, March 22 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Chicago at a future date.
