Obituary of Irving Iskowitz
Irving Iskowitz, age 94, of North Las Vegas, passed Thursday, July 11. Irving was born May 4, 1919 in New York, NY, to the late Max and the late Fannie (Mandel) Iskowitz.
He served in the Army during World War II from 9/2/1942 to 2/13/1946. He loved photography and taking pictures. Irving enjoyed meeting and talking to new people, and made friends easily. He was an old fashioned gentleman. Irving loved his family very much. They meant everything to him. They were his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Francine Barna and her husband Charles, his son Jay Ives and his wife Robin. He also is survived by 4 grandchildren, Stacey, Michael and his wife Alison and Jadyn and his 3 great-grandchildren, Cara, Austin and Brianna. He will be deeply missed.
Irving was also a member of the JCC is Staten Island.
The funeral and internment will be held 10:40 am on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV with Rabbi Michael Laximeter officiating.
