Obituary of Florence Gilman

Florence Gilman, age 91, of Las Vegas (formerly of Denver), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Saturday, January 26, 2013. Florence was born March 4, 1921 in Denver CO to the late Theodore and Mary (Goldstein) Philippe. Florence attended the University of Colorado before marrying the love of her life, Dr. Harold E. Gilman. They were happily married for 58 years before his passing in 1999. Florence, in her younger years enjoyed skiing, golf, tennis and playing mah jong. Florence is survived by her children Bobbi (Peter) Gilman Feinstein of Las Vegas/ Los Angeles, Don Gilman of Denver CO and Bruce (Sheila) Gilman of Cabo San Lucas Mexico; grandchildren Darin (Trish) Feinstein, Brett (Amanda) Feinstein, Matthew (Aida) and Jessica Gilman, all of Las Vegas and Kari Feinstein of Los Angeles; and great-grandchildren Louis , Asher, Benjamin, and Sari Feinstein and Jacob Gilman, all of Las Vegas. A funeral service will be held at Hillside Mortuary, 6001 W. Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles at 11:00am on Wed. Jan 30, 2013 with burial immediately following.
