Carolyn was born to John Bynum and Frances Schlinger Woodruff on September 22, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ. She married her husband of forty-five years, Bill, on June 23rd, 1967. She attended the University of Houston and University of West Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, at the same time raising her first child while her husband was at sea on a Coast Guard Cutter. In her life, she worked as a teacher, a real estate agent and was most recently employed by Wells Fargo Securities (formerly AG Edwards) in Las Vegas as a financial advisor. She leaves behind many admiring former students and clients. Carolyn's hobbies included antiques, walking all of the wonderful nature areas around the Las Vegas area, traveling, her children and grandchildren, and painting. The last three years of her life were spent in a place she loved and adored. She was a loving Mother and devoted wife who will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers the family requests that if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
