Obituary of Jack Bernard Mindell

Jack Bernard Mindell, age 81, a 10 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. Jack was born September 23, 1931 in St. Joseph MO to the late Max and the late Anna Lee (Oshry) Mindell. Jack was a graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City and a life-long member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Overland Park, KS. He worked for a car dealership in Kansas City. Jack loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and creating pencil drawings. Jack is survived by his sister Marilyn (Howard) Lenore Landers of Las Vegas; nieces Sherri Landers of Las Vegas, Carol Daugherty of Las Vegas, Julie Postler of Las Vegas, and Judith Droskin of Kansas City; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack is predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Beatrice (Adelman) Mindell. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, December 28 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 55th And Ditzler Avenue, Raytown, MO. Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, 14200 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66223.
