
Obituary of Chester Bernard Kulaw
Chester Bernard (Chet) Kulaw, age 95 passed away in Las Vegas on January 7, 2023. Chester was born August 20, 1927 in Wyandotte, MI.
Chet was a Veteran of World War II proudly serving in the US Navy, Pacific Fleet. Chet relocated while working for Wolverine Tube, Inc. He was a committed Catholic and honored member of the Knights of Columbus chapter in Decatur, AL. He retired to Las Vegas, NV over 30 years ago. Chet was a member of the National Credit Association and served on the Board for the Del Webb community in Las Vegas where he and Helen remain one of the original homeowners.
Chet loved the outdoors and was an enthusiastic golfer and hiker in Red Rock Canyon. He was an avid swimmer completing multiple laps each day until recent years. Chet and Helen are active members of St. Ann Elizabeth Seaton Church in Las Vegas, NV.
Beloved everlasting husband of Helen (Gorski), treasured father of Lenore (Kenn) Denys, Karen (Chip) Van Kampen and Gary (Debra) Kulaw. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of a beautiful and loving family.
Chester is predeceased by his son Mark Kulaw, daughter Stacy Smeltzer. Father-in-law of Linda Kulaw and Tommy Smeltzer.
