Obituary of Audrey S Blankfeld

Audrey Sylvia Blankfeld, age 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Baltimore, Maryland, passed away after a long illness on December 6, 2022. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Eliot Blankfeld, and her parents Emma and Harry Weis. She is survived by her husband, David of 63 years, her son, Harvey (Helene) Blankfeld and daughter, Amy (Robert) Keisler, grandchildren Zachary (Elizabeth Bengtsson), Ethan, Jacob and Sarah as well as her beloved dogs, Iggie and Sophie. Audrey completed her education with a Masters Degree in Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and retired from her work as an addictions counselor after guiding numerous individuals onto a better path. She was a dedicated painter and ceramicist, and the founder of the ceramics club at Sun City Aliante. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, meals with family and gardening. Audrey had a passion for dogs and rescued and fostered many along the way. Her family wishes to thank the many caregivers who looked after Audrey.
