Obituary of Richard Gutierrez

Richard Gutierrez passed away on September 12th, 2022 at the age of 78 in the comfort of his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. His brief battle with cancer showed his undeniable courage and strength.

Richard was born in Los Angeles, California on May 16, 1944 to parents Joe and Josephine Gutierrez.

Richard worked for Rey-Crest Roofing for many years until he moved to Las Vegas in 1997. He then worked in maintenance until he retired in 2006.

Richard is survived by his seven siblings; Robert, Joe, Linda, JoAnn, Terry, Virginia, and Diane. His seven children; Maralinda, Cari, Denise, Richard, Michelle, Randy and Nathan. 22 grand children and 31 great grand children.

He will be remembered for his soft and gentle demeanor, his love for a big plate at Dona Maria’s after church, cheering on the UCLA bruins, and his special good morning texts he would send to all his loved ones. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
