Ann was/is one of the kindest and loving person I am privileged to know. She is my sister’s (Elaine) friend. I was in Vegas for a conference and hadn’t seen Annie in years, she picked up my friend and I. She entertained us with a wonderful lunch and great time with your grandmother.
When she visited Erie, I saw her again at St. Mary’s Home where my Dad was living and cheered him up. For days afterwords he’d recall seeing Annie.
She is a delightful person and was always a wonderful friend to my sister.
I am blessed to have been brought in by her hospitality.

Dearest Ann, our children are engaged, so we are almost in the same family. I would have loved to meet you so much. Rest in peace.

Ann Bradford
The souls of the just are in the hands of God and no torment shall touch them. These words are of great comfort and conciliation.
When we call to mind Ann who has gone before us, we can think of her in so many ways.
We may think of her with:
Gratitude and thanksgiving for the gift of her life.
A sense of loss and yearning.
In terms of what Ann gave to us – her love, friendship, joy and strength.
A good way to think of Ann is in the contents of prayer. For prayers offer us faith and are the most real and certain way to be united with those who have gone before us. With faith, we are invited to lift up Ann in prayer and as we do this, we experience divine assurance, comfort, conciliation and the mercy of God for her and for us.
When we think of Ann, we know that our grief is the other side of our love for her. In the light of faith, we know that the creation of this earthly life is but a preparation for the eternal life. This eternal life of endless peace, joy and love is in the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
1. Let’s ponder on the promise of eternal life that the resurrection of Jesus brings to each and every one of us.
2. Let us in trust to the loving mercy of God for all those who have gone before us.
3. Let us feel comfort in the knowledge that the souls of the just are in the hands of God.
Have a peaceful and blessed day.
A friend of Ann
