I met Christine (and Amanda) at the school our kids attended. Our sons played on the same basketball team one year and were in band together. Then later attended the same high school. This year our boys will graduate. Our girls are both freshman at the same school. I can’t even imagine what her kids must be going through. Christine was always so easy to talk to and was such a great mom. She was such a bright light to those around her, full of life and love. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Christine, you and I met working at a daycare together back in 1999. We quickly became good friends. Shortly after this we both became wives and first time moms. We were there for each other's weddings, baby showers. I remember when you guys bought your first home and you were so proud to show it off to us. We became second time moms within months of each other and shared that joy as well. Our lives had ups and downs and we were there for each other through so much of it. When I moved up north in 2010 I never did get the chance to see you again. Although we spoke from time to time, life kept us busy and we didn't talk as often as we should have. The thought of you not being on this Earth has left me in shock and broken hearted for your family, for Amanda who I know you loved with all your heart and for Riley and McKenzie who should not have lost their mom at such a young age. They were your pride and joy from the moment they were born and you always made sure they knew that. Your beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be so deeply missed and never forgotten. I will always be thankful for the memories we made and for you being one of those friends we only get a chance to have a few times in our lives. You will always have a special place in my heart. I know you will continue to watch over Amanda and your babies and I hope they will always feel your presence. May you rest in peace.
