Obituary of Sherri Beth Landers

Sherri Beth Landers, 68, a 48 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.  Sherri was born July 7, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa.  Her family moved to Santa Maria CA in 1960.  Sherri graduated from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria CA.  After moving to Las Vegas NV in 1973, Sherri attended UNLV. 

Sherri had a natural ability to communicate with children, which led her to become a preschool teacher.  Miss Sherri made a positive impact in the lives of the children, and they all loved her.

She loved ballet, dancing, cooking and music.  Sherri will be remembered for having a kind and warm heart.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Howard Landers.  She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Landers; sisters Carol (Carl) and Julie (Howard); nieces Brooke (Joe) and Heather (Danny); nephews Jason and Jeremy; great nephew Miles; and many cousins and life-long friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV.
