Obituary of William Lincoln Smith

William Lincoln Smith, 89, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on February 12, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, serving in S. Korea and Vietnam. William married Frances, who was his lifelong companion of 63 wonderful years. Together they raised their daughters Linda, Cathy, Kim, and Sherry, and their son David. They all traveled together and lived seven years in Europe. Bill and Frances both retired in 1994 and started another wonderful chapter in their lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where they created even more wonderful memories. Bill is survived by three daughters: Linda (Gary) DeCoff, Cathy (Dan) Caughlin, and Kim (Gail) Laborde, one son: David Smith, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his wife Frances, daughter Sherry Uhlig and his grandchildren Mikie & Janelle McDermott. Viewing will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 1-4pm at Kraft Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services, 3975 S. Durango Dr. Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 15, 2021 at 12noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 where Bill will be laid to rest with his wife, Frances.
