She is the beloved Daughter of Maureen Karp and Thomas Lenner. She was the grand daughter of the late Dr. Newton and Diane Karp, Phyllis and Fred Brooks and Adolf and Toula Daszkal of Florida. The treasured niece all of Michigan, Julie Geller Bussell, Kitty Applegarth. Her greatest JOY was the son that she gave birth to on a very hot evening in Las Vegas on August 17, 2015 named Lennox Eliot Russo. Lennox and Rachel had an incredible loving bond from the moment he was placed into her open and waiting arms. Rachel was very tiny in stature and for her to carry this almost 8 pound baby boy was Amazing. She took to Motherhood very easily.

If there was a place to take him, she did. A new toy to buy him, she did. Her world was centered around Lennox’s needs, care, education and his curiosity constantly. Tons of cuddles and movies and his ( Egg Video’s ) he loved watching on You Tube. She loving called him ( Bubbe) he loving called her his best friend during their nightly ritual of saying goodnight to each other. It had been said by many and was a focal point at all her memorials. “And she loved a little boy very, very much , even more than she loved herself.

Rachel spent 15 years in the restaurant industry, rising as high as she could. Loving the journey the whole way. Her last almost three years were spent at SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas under the direction of her wonderful GM ( second Mom as Rachel referred to her) Kari Olsen. Thank you so much for believing in her. She cared so very deeply for you and was Immensely grateful for the opportunity you gave her when you both left Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant in 2018.  Rachel worked for the company for eleven years prior.

Rachel had more love for her friends in life than family by choice. Heather McCauley, Stephanie Pitts, Annie Valentine, Michelle McEldowney, Kristine (Pockets) Mascoli, and the most special friend to her Tiffany Tietjen. Words could never be enough for how much Rachel cared for you and you cared for her and our family at this devastating time for all of us.

In early fall on 0ctober 1, 2020 and on December 6, 2020 Rachel lost the twins she was carrying. Willa Pearl Irene Russo and Sparrow Midnight Navy Russo, I will always Love You Best, Tess.
