Obituary of Roberta Ellen Folkes

Roberta Ellen Folkes, age 67, of Las Vegas and formerly of Brooklyn and Long Island, died Thursday, September 13, 2012. Roberta was born April 30, 1945 in Brooklyn NY to the late Theodore and the late Florence (Silverstein) Malkoff. Roberta worked as a secretary and as an alarm company technician. A loving and generous woman, she volunteered at the neonatal intensive care unit at Summerlin Hospital. Roberta enjoyed mah jong, shopping and gambling. She is survived by her husband Richard James Folkes; one daughter Lauren (Aaron)Geller of Las Vegas, NV; sister Leslie (Murray) Hochman of Las Vegas, NV; and grandsons Aaden and Lucas Geller. She is predeceased by her mother, Florence Malkoff and grandparents Syd and Benjamin Silverstein. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S.
