Obituary of Jerrold Rappaport

Jerrold (Jerry) Rappaport passed away on January 1, 2021 after a struggle with Covid. He was born in Brooklyn, N Y on July 6, 1946 but moved to Massapequa Park to start school. He served in the USAF for 4 years as a jet engine mechanic. He then finished college and worked as a systems analyst for Control Data systems. In 1994 he moved to Las Vegas and worked at the test site, Southwest Gas and the Carpenters Union and Oracle. He loved to travel and to cruise until health reasons caused some restrictions but he never stopped wanting to visit new places. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeanine Daughters Pamela(AZ) and Debra(LV) Son in laws Ephraim and Anthony and Grand daughters Rachel, Samantha and Emma and Alexis He and Jeanine were most recently members of Temple Sinai. Although not active here Synagogue life was always a big part of their lives in New York. Jerry will be remembered for his quiet ways.
