I love my uncle Don. The only uncle I've ever known. I've known him my whole life and he's just simply awesome. I have nothing but the fondest memories with him. I love my auntie and all my cousins and I'm truly sorry to hear he's passed and you'll all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Best uncle ever!

We are saddened by Don's passing. He was not just a son-in-law or brother-in-law he was our family married to my sister Maria for 42 years. The last time we saw Don he and Maria came to visit on September 5, 2020, to celebrate his mother-in-laws (Tina's) birthday. We miss you and find it hard to believe you left us to soon. Love you always and forever, Tina, Jerry and Margaret.

Our sincerest condolences to Don's family. He was always a cute little cousin and grew up to be a wonderful gentleman. He had a wit about him and a twinkle in his eye. We will miss seeing him at family gatherings. Our side of the family (Aunty Ruby Quon's side) is not as large as the Jongs, but we were always included at the parties. Those were fond memories growing up for me. I've enjoyed getting to know Don more on Facebook. I see that he loved to cook and is always experimenting. His food looked delicious. I do know that his first love will always be his family.
We wish Maria, Jonathan, Loriana, Heather and your families comfort and peace at this difficult time. We will miss Don, but he will always be in our hearts and memories.

My heart aches as we have a lost a wonderful and genuine man. My memories go back to the early seventies as I began my teaching career and had the opportunity to meet Don. It started a life-long friendship that I will always cherish. Although we no longer lived close by, we communicated often and our common bond was our love of sports. We often reminisced about our early years including bowling outings, ski trips and family get togethers. It was truly an honor for me to be the best man in your wedding. I will never forget you, Don. May our Lord grant you everlasting peace and comfort.

So many memories on Sadowa street at family get togethers as children! Running around up and down the stairs. Then, continuing the tradition as adults with our huge Jong family every Christmas. Will sadly miss you Don, you were always so friendly, smiling, and sharing your family's good news. Always generating a warm, good feeling with everyone Will miss you so much!
