Obituary of James Sahagun Sabas

James Sahagun Sabas, 41, originally of Waipahu, HI, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. James was born in Honolulu, HI, to Celso & Monette on May 27, 1979. He attended Waipahu high school and graduated Cum Laude in 1997. He went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts from the University of Hawaii and a certificate in Electronics Technology from Heald College. He worked many jobs through the years but finished his career working as a Field Service Engineer at Sysmex America, Inc. for 4 years. He was an avid computer gamer and enjoyed fishing with family & friends. James is survived by his devoted wife Erica of Wahiawa, HI, daughter Naiya, parents Celso Sr and Monette, sisters Elsa (Ray Santa Elena) & Lisa (Gaynell Dela Cruz), brothers Celso Jr (Melissa) & Jayson (Joanna). James is also survived by 9 nieces, 4 nephews, and 1 grand niece. A private service for immediate family will be held in Las Vegas on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 6 pm PST. A public service in Hawaii will be held at a later date to be determined.
