Obituary of Gloria Paulette Speen

Gloria Paulette Speen, age 80, a 13 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012. Gloria was born May 31, 1932 in Chicago IL to Paul R. and Bessie L.Simon. Gloria was an engaging person, whom everyone loved. In her younger years, she trained as a concert pianist. She met and married Gerald Speen and changed her focus to her family. Gloria developed and was CEO of a successful promotional products firm, Creative Promotional Services, in Los Angeles, winning numerous awards. It became one of the largest woman-owned companies in Southern California. Music was always part of her life, playing at home and for organizations like Brandeis Women. She was also a volunteer for the Las Vegas Philharmonic Gloria is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gerald Speen; children Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ , Cyndie (Richard) of Southern CA and Jill (Jeremy) Murty of Orange County,CA.; and grandchildren Sara and Brianna Speen of Phoenix. A graveside service will be held at 9 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at King David Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Ln., Las Vegas, NV 89120.
