Obituary of Julius Grapel

Julius Grapel, age 85, a 39 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012. Julius was born July 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Max and the late Rose (Simon) Grapel. He served in the Army. He loved cars and and worked as an auto mechanic. Julius is survived by wife Miriam Grapel; children Paul Grapel of Las Vegas and Rhonda (Albert) Zavarro of Hilo HI; stepchildren Bonnie, Robert and Robin Smith; sister Rita (Jerry) Vale of Palm Springs CA; grandchildren Kristi Ketola and Alex Zavarro; and 5 great grandchildren. Burial will be at 1:20 PM on September 5, 2012 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City.
