Obituary of Edwina Prieto

Edwina Prieto, age 89, recently of Las Vegas and formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Edwina was born October 21, 1922 in Chicago IL to the late Joseph and the late Mary (Cardenas) Prieto. She worked as a secretary in a variety of office settings. Edwina enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as her month-long trips to Mexico. Edwina is survived by her siblings Rose Marie Berger of Las Vegas, Morrow Prieto of Chicago and Carl Prieto of Chicago; nieces and nephews Stephen, Phillip (Cyndi), Laura, Keith (Jackie), David, Mary, Christine, Erin, Margaret , Bruce, Carl Jr., Jan, David, Kelly and Mark; and many great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 87th Street & Hamlin Ave., Evergreen Park, IL. .
