Obituary of Nemesia Montojo Miller

Nemesia Ahulii-Miller, age 89, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away June 18, 2012 at home. Nemesia was born October 28, 1922 in Romblon, Philippines as the third of six children born to the late Emilio and the late Felipa (Muyo) Montojo Sr. After graduating from the Teachers University, she was an elementary school math teacher in the Philippines, before World War II. Nemesia survived being captured by the Japanese during the war. She met and went on to marry John Ahulii. Nemesia was an accomplished administrator, receiving multiple outstanding service awards. She enjoyed calculating astrology charts, numerology, doing needlepoint, tavel and being a homemaker. Nemesia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Robert Ahulii of Torrance, CA; her daughter: Susan Ahulii-Adams of Euxton, England; one grandson; her sister, Carmen Chang of Temecula, CA, and her family. She is predeceased by two husbands. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Community Center Club House, 148 Day Street in Henderson, Nevada. Interment will be at All Souls' Cemetery in Long Beach, California. The family members wish to thank Nathan Adelson Hospice and Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services for their care and professionalism.
