Obituary of Vladimir Levin

Vladimir Levin, age 103, of Las Vegas, died Monday, June 11, 2012. Vladimir was born June 1, 1909 in the city of Bar, Ukraine to the late Konstantin and the late Bella (Avter) Levin. He served in the Soviet Army during World War II, earning numerous medals, and worked as a salesman while in the Ukraine. He moved to the United States in 1979 to Cleveland and then to Las Vegas in 2007. In his retirement, he enjoyed reading, sewing and playing chess, checkers and bingo. Vladimir is survived by his daughters Klavdiya (Victor) Loginov of Las Vegas, NV, and Mira (Michael) Baron of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren Laura (Bob) Riede-Konopinski of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Loginov of Las Vegas, NV, Samantha Baron of Rockport, MD, and Jeff Baron of New York, NY; great grandchildren Adam Goldstein of Rockport, MD, David Riede of Las Vegas, NV, and Ryan Konopinski of Las Vegas, NV. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
