Obituary of Stewart Phillip Hanna

Stewart Phillip Hanna, age 83, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas, NV. Stewart was born July 6, 1928 in Vinton, IA. He is the son of the late George R and the late Julia Hanna, and husband of Barbara A. (Kennedy) Hanna. Stewart was an 8 year resident of Las Vegas, formerly of Seattle, WA. Stewart served in the Navy from 05/23/1946 to 03/19/1948 and later went on to work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as the Deputy Supervisor of Mt. Baker in the Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington. He is survived by his wife: Barbara A.(Kennedy) Hanna. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
