Obituary of Kent Allen Young

Kent Allen Young, age 66, of Las Vegas, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas, NV. Kent was born May 19, 1945 in Danville, IL. He is the son of the late Richard Simpson and the late Vema Irene (Miller) Young. He married Thu HienHa. He served in the Navy. He was employed by the State of Illinois Department of Corrections. He is one of 8 children. Kent was an avid poker player and so-so golfer. He is survived by his wife: Thu Hien(Ha) Young and his three sons: Mark Young of Chicago, IL, Andrew (Angie) Young of Springfield, IL, Kevin Young of Las Vegas, NV. Cremation will be carried out at Bunkers Memory Gardens, Las Vegas with the ashes interred at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery. .
