Obituary of Elaine Resnick

Elaine Resnick, age 74, a 35 year resident of Las Vegas, died on October 20, 2011. Elaine was born August 11, 1937 in New York NY to the late Meyer and the late Neche (Horn) Leon. She lived in New York and Massachusetts prior to coming to Las Vegas in 1976. Elaine worked in various clerical and bookkeeping positions, including for Shelby Keefer and for the Sahara Hotel/Casino. She loved to people watch, work puzzles and play Jeopardy. Elaine is survived by her sons Mark (Medley Sapp) Resnick of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph (Nicole) Resnick of Reno, NV; grandchildren Jason Resnick of Bakersfield CA, Matthew, Jeremy and Zachary Resnick all of Las Vegas and Rachel, Sarah and Nicole Resnick of Irvine CA; and her sisters Leona Stein of Brooklyn NY and Roslyn Leon of Sarasota FL. She is predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Harris Resnick. A graveside service will be held at the Temple Beth Sholom Section of Woodlawn Cemetery 1500 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, NV 89101 at 11AM on Sunday, October 23. Contributions in Elaine's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
